Welcome to the terms and conditions for tlcdrivercpc.uk, owned and operated by TLC Compliance Limited. By accessing this website or booking a Driver CPC course, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Course Bookings
- Bookings must be made through the website or by contacting us directly.
- Payment must be completed at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
- We reserve the right to refuse bookings or reschedule courses if necessary.
2. Cancellations and Changes by You
- All cancellations and date changes must be requested by email to bookings@tlccompliance.com. Requests made by phone or any other method will not be accepted. The time we receive your email is the time used to calculate the notice period.
- More than 72 hours before the course start time: You may transfer to another available course date free of charge, or cancel and receive a refund of the course fee less the card processing fee charged to us by our payment provider. Processing fees are non-refundable in all cases.
- Within 72 hours of the course start time: No refund will be given, and the booking cannot be transferred.
- Non-attendance: If you do not attend, or are refused entry under section 4, no refund will be given.
- Refunds are paid to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of approval.
3. Cancellations by TLC Compliance
We may cancel or reschedule a course, for example due to insufficient numbers or trainer unavailability. Where we do, we will notify you as early as possible and offer an alternative date or a full refund of the amount paid. Our liability is limited to this refund or transfer.
4. Course Attendance
- Attendees must arrive on time and present valid photographic ID and their driving licence.
- Late arrivals may be refused entry. No refund will be given in that case.
- Attendees are expected to behave appropriately.
- We may remove anyone whose behaviour is disruptive or unsafe, without refund.
5. Certificates and Upload of Hours
- Certificates are only issued, and hours only uploaded, on full attendance of the course.
- Training hours will be uploaded to the DVSA system within 5 working days of the course date.
- It is the attendee’s responsibility to provide correct personal and licence details. We are not responsible for delays or errors caused by incorrect information supplied by the attendee.
- It is the attendee’s responsibility to ensure they complete their required periodic training before their DQC expiry date, allowing enough time for hours to be uploaded and a new DQC to be issued.
6. Liability
- We are not responsible for travel, accommodation, loss of earnings or any other costs incurred by attendees, including as a result of course changes or cancellations.
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from use of this website.
- Our total liability in connection with any booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking.
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Exceptional Circumstances
In exceptional circumstances supported by evidence, such as a medical emergency, we may at our sole discretion offer a transfer or refund outside the terms above.
8. Website Use
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. We may suspend or restrict access at our discretion.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. The terms in force at the time of your booking apply to that booking.
